Chromebook Use

Hello blogging world,
Today in class I made a slideshow about all the things you should/should not do to keep your chrome book safe. Example: Don't put food near your chrome book. I worked with my friend Abby  and she helped a lot.

Gala day thinglink

Welcome back, this week in class I have made a Thinglink. The Thinglink is about ideas that we have for our school Gala day. I had lots of ideas. 

A Gala day is a big fair with lots of stores.
 A Gala day is welcoming for all of the family, and lots of people come.  
They have lots of stalls and usually a bouncy castle

Hi blogging world. Welcome back! Its 2017 now and I have loads of new work to share with you.  Here is some stuff I have been doing this week. It is some writing called Cameron Pools!

Walt: write a recount.

A couple of days ago I started and finished a recount about going to super fun swimming lessons at Cameron Pools. We went to learn about water safety. The word 'recount' below is the link to my writing

We were asked to add interesting language features like personification. Personification is a feature where you make an inanimate object like a human being. We also had to use: onomatopoeia and a great hook sentence.

Clover Moon

In class a couple of weeks ago we started to make book reviews on books we had read. You could review any book you wanted, including your Duffy book. This is my book review on my book Clover Moon. I had to complete 8 tasks around this book. I think this work was very fun, and I think I did quite well in this task and I learned about the 19th century which is when the book was set. My favourite bit about the work was writing the acrostic poems. I hope you like my work and feel free to comment.
