Ako Hiko Tool-kits

Welcome back bloggers!
I have just been to the Ako Hiko Tool-kits!
I had so, so much fun! I went to 1 session called incredibox, and presented a slideshow about Making a quiz on a website called Kahoot, for another session.
What are student led tool-kits?
This is a big meeting, hosted by one of the schools in the Ako Hiko cluster.
6-24 students are chosen from each school to come and watch other children present about a tool on their Chromebooks. Some kids are chosen to present their own presentations.
There are also some challenge's that you do on the day. This year there was a coding challenge and a problem solving challenge.

What do you do in the challenges?
2-4 students are chosen per school to do each challenge. I was picked from our school to participate in a problem solving challenge!
We had to build a structure that was more than 10 cm tall and it had to hold a cup with 100 grams in it.
Our structure came second place, and was 20 cm Tall, and we got the award for the most creative.

At The tool-kit sessions I had to present a slideshow.
Like I said it was about Kahoot. I did it in front of a classroom of kids. If you would like to see it,
Here it is:
I had loads of ultra cool experiences at the tool-kits! The thing that I found most fun was when I got to do a Kahoot quiz with the classroom of kids that I was teaching. The thing that I found most challenging was getting everybody signed into the website (kahoot) because we had lots of troubles, but we managed to get through everything! I learnt, that there is that you can get bonus's on incredibox. I learnt this when I went to my first session. Before I presented I was feeling kind of nervous, but now I feel proud of myself!
Here are some photos as well:
