In class, over the past few week we have been creating Tote bags. It was super fun, and I made one with a giraffe on it. You might want to make your very own, so...
Here is how we made them:

What you will need:
Sewing machine
Fabric
Siccors
Strapping
pins
iron

Method:
1. First cut our 2 pieces of even fabric.
2. Pin them together-inside-out, but only pin three sides! Because you will need a top.
3.Sew the 3 pinned sides together, in a straight line.
4. Iron your bag, and then fold down the top of the bag, sew and repeat this step to make the hem, then iron again.
5. Cut out some strapping (twill tape) any lenghth you think will fit, and sew them onto the inside of the hem in a square. when sewing them on go back and forward a couple of times to make sure they a strong.
6. Sell or enjoy!

Next time I would not rush the screenprinting so much because 1 of my bags turned out messy because I rushed. I would also be more carful when I sew so I don't get a bleeding finger again!
